On January 28, 2026, representatives of the International Relations Center of KUE took part in the official launch event of the project “Małopolska – Inspiration for Your Research Journey”, held at the Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza w Krakowie
During the event, KUE officially joined the project as a partner institution.
The initiative is implemented under the NAWA Narodowa Agencja Wymiany Akademickiej–EURAXESS Network Programme and aims to strengthen regional cooperation in supporting international researchers and promoting Małopolska as an attractive destination for scientific research and academic career development.
The meeting was officially opened by representatives of academia, local and regional authorities, and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange NAWA. The programme included presentations of the EURAXESS Network activities, an introduction to the project objectives, and a panel discussion with international researchers working in the Małopolska region.
The event brought together over 130 participants and provided a platform for exchanging experiences related to international research collaboration, academic mobility, and career development in Poland. International researchers shared their perspectives on working in Małopolska, highlighting both opportunities and challenges, as well as the reasons for choosing the region for their scientific careers.
By joining the project as a partner, KUE strengthens its engagement in internationalisation activities and regional cooperation aimed at supporting international researchers and enhancing the visibility of Małopolska as a dynamic and welcoming research environment.
