On May 26, 2025, KUE proudly celebrated the 50th anniversary of its partnership with its American counterpart – Grand Valley State University (GVSU) from Michigan.
This exceptional occasion marked a moment of reflection on decades of fruitful academic collaboration and the signing of a renewed partnership agreement, opening a new chapter in the relationship between the two institutions.
The anniversary celebration was led by the Director of the International Relations Center, Katarzyna Sanak-Kosmowska and featured the official GVSU delegation, headed by Professor Jennifer Drake – Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs. Among the distinguished guests was Her Excellency Erin Nickerson – Consul General of the United States in Kraków, as well as members of the KUE community who have contributed to the development of this longstanding relationship over the years: academic staff, alumni of exchange programs, project coordinators, and students.
